The most memorable day of my life

As my college exams were over I was in full party & vacation mood.
Goa and Thailand were the two places on my priority list.

But my parents were all set to ruin my plans as they had decided to visit Jiran, too meet a relative.

I was reluctant in going to a village as I wanted to go to some happening place.
My parents warned me of cancelling plans for a foreign outing next year if I didn’t accompany them now. I had no other option than to go along.

When my friends came to know about my vacation plan they were laughing like hell.
They wished me all the best for my trip in a mocking tone.

I was really scared now.
Going to a village and staying there seemed to be a nightmare.
I was really pissed off as I had no clue of how will I even sustain the ambiance of the village for a day.

Finally the day came and we started our journey to Jiran.
It took us around 8 hours to reach the place.

As we entered the village, everything looked messy and obsolete.
The lanes were narrow and houses looked like the ones built before Britishers came to India.
People had so sense of fashion and hygiene.

Finally after 1 hour of crazy horn blowing, frustration and agitation, we finally reached the home of my mom’s cousin, whom I used to call Hari uncle.

They were waiting for us anxiously. As we got down they welcomed us whole heartily.
It had been years after I meet them so couldn't recall their face.

There house was very big and looked more like a historical monument which was not white washed for ages. There were no marble flooring and furniture appeared to be of Akbar's time.
They showed us our rooms and told us to get fresh as dinner was ready.

Our room had nothing to be happy about as it was as old fashioned as the house.
After having dinner, everyone decided to sleep as we had to get up early in the morning.

In the morning I asked uncle where we were going. He just asked me to follow.
When we came across a farm he told me that it was there's and they grew different vegetables like ladyfinger, cucumbers, green onions, pulses and cereals.
It was before dawn and the crops appeared dancing with the cool breeze.
The panorama was beautiful and so natural.
We have to get to the top of that hill which appears at the other side of this farm, affirmed he.

I was gasping for air as the path to the top was not easy and it took all my stamina to even stand still.
Come on my boy we have almost made it, exclaimed he. I could see a 50 year old standing at the top and motivating a young champ to take those remaining steps.
When I reached at the top I was completely tired and out of my senses. Suddenly a gust of cool breeze touched my face, blowing my hair. What I saw next was phenomenal, tiny extravagant shades of orange and pink appeared in the sky. Shortly after a fiery ball enhancement started to make it’s way beyond the mountain ranges at a distance. Sky was filled with colours of unexplained magnificence that had no known name. I felt like I am on top of the world with nature charming me with all it's elements.

After doing some yoga and exercise we headed towards our home as breakfast was waiting for us
After we were done filling our hungry stomach, I was in a desperate need of a shower as my complete body was stinging and sweating.
We will go to a nearby river side which is just 10 km away from here and don’t worry this time we will go on my bike, Hari uncle chuckled.
We were accompanied my father also.

When we reached the spot there was no crowd there. Uncle told us that this place was rarely known to the village people. In no time he climbed up a rock which was 20 feet high and made a dive in the water.

Wow, that’s super cool I thought and tried myself too. I was feeling a bit nervous as 20 feet was not a small height, but then I made my move and went straight into the water. I could see small fishes passing by my ear; it was a breath taking moment for me, so natural and wonderful.

After doing different somersaults and relaxing in the free flowing water for some 2 hours we finally headed back home.
It was already 12 and lunch was at our disposition.
Dal Batti with a lot of pure ghee glued me to it. I loved having a lot of ghee in my food and this time I got exactly the same. I ate like a vociferous hungry boy.
We generally used to eat with spoons but this time we used only hands, and I bet food is more delicious when we use hands rather than spoons or knifes.

Finally the exciting day came to an end after we had our dinner which was equally delicious.
It was the most memorable day of my life as it got me close to the nature and also changed my mentality. I used to think that village people are nothing in front of us but I was proved wrong.
I got inspired and motivated by Hari uncle. Life is not so tough and complex as we think. Village people in spite of getting few basic amenities enjoy their lives to the fullest and the people living in city cry for petty things. It made me optimistic about the life I was living and also gave me the strength to face new challenges which were going to come in my life.

The bold step of my life

I lived with my family in a small town called Dewas in Madhya Pradesh. We were a middle class family which consisted of 6 members. My father was a business man and my mother was a housewife. I had a younger sister and 2 elder brothers. My sister was our little princess who was loved by everyone in the family. She had a dream to become doctor and wanted to get admission in the top medical colleges of Mumbai. We were against sending her alone to a new city but as my job location also came out to be Mumbai so my parents agreed to it.

Mumbai the commercial capital of India has lot of opportunities for everyone. It was the city of dreams which had fulfilled dreams of many people. I also had a dream to own a flat somewhere in Bandra. I got a one room kitchen in Andheri for me and my sister. As her college was in Bandra so it was the perfect place to live in. My sister was a bright student from her school time. She was always good in studies as well as other cultural activities. Her enthusiasm and determination was appreciated by all her teachers and friends. She was an amiable person who used to jell well with others. It was her first day of the college and she was filled with energy.

I gave her a hug and told her to concentrate on studies. As it was a new city so I advised her to be cautious while judging people and making friends. In few months itself we got comfortable in the new city. My office team was really amazing. It had some nice people which became my best friends. As we all were foodie so every weekend we used to explore a new restaurant. Blogging was my passion and I was really happy to meet some great Mumbai bloggers in various meets which were held once in a month. My life was going on smoothly until the worst weekend of my life came.

It was a routine weekend and my office friends suggested going to a bar. I was a bit hesitant in going as I used to not drink. My friends especially my senior insisted on trying it once. As he was my senior so I agreed to only taste it. After we went to the pub my friends drank a lot and got out of their senses. As I was also drunk, my friends insisted me to stay with them for the night. I agreed and stayed with them. Next morning when I visited my home I was shocked to see my sister shivering with fear and pain. Blood was coming from her head. When I asked what happened she started crying. I appeased her and requested her to tell what the hell happened. She told about a guy in her college whom she fell in love with. He was very loving and caring. Yesterday night when I informed her about my night out she asked him to come to the flat. What happened next was quite evident, she was raped. I went to police station to file an FIR against him. As he was the son of a local politician, police was reluctant in filling complain.

It was time to take a bold step to provide justice to my sister. I used the power of blogging and spread the case on social media sites asking for justice. One of my lawyer friend helped me file a case against the culprit. My blogger and journalist friends provided the required media coverage. In no time the culprit was behind the bars. After this incident I took pledge to start a NGO which will work for providing justice to the rape victims. I will always remember this incident as a bold step in my life.

Look Up Stories- My Optimistic pace towards Dawn

Being from a typical Indian Brahmin family I sacrificed my likeness, educational choices and so many things which I cannot even count because number keeps going on but today when I see myself; sometime I cannot recognize my own identity. I doubt myself and ask one simple question to myself if I am the same girl who some years ago was just a statue of sacrifices and today when I see this new bold lady in me who fights for the rights of women and protest against injustice and try to protect justice always.

Some years ago I had to marry a rich Brahmin engineer guy at the age of 20. I remember it when I just completed my graduation and wanted to pursue further studies. I had a dream of becoming a great lawyer of this country but as our Indian Brahmin society doesn’t like bold lady lawyer especially when a higher position comes in the destiny of a women then maximum number of people sow thrones on the path of that lady in order to make her unsuccessful and ineffective in her career. It was my destiny and I had to get married soon without fulfilling my dreams.

My husband was not soft enough towards me and I came to know about this immediately after some months. I was 9 year younger to my husband and we had lots of differences in thinking and likeness; Yet, I controlled myself and somewhere a hoping ray was alive inside me and I was waiting to receive my husband’s love. Time came and that hoping ray turned off and I lost all my patience when I came to know that I am not eligible for any love from my husband as it is already reserved for someone else. Yes, my husband had extra marital affair and after almost 2 years of marriage I came to know about this bitter truth of my life.

I finally decided to take an exceptional step for myself as I was really young and I didn’t have dare to sacrifice my whole life just for one bitter truth. I decided to take divorce; I had good amount of gold ornaments which I had received from my parents during my wedding as a dowry (Stridhana). I moved ahead filed a petition to seek divorce from my husband on the ground of “Adultery”. Subsequently, I arranged a new home for myself and enrolled my name as a law student; simultaneously I joined one multinational company in which I was a legal trainee. Somehow I managed to run my household and I was getting a reasonable amount as my stipend. After three years continuous hard work I received my “Sanad (license to practice in law courts)”

Today, almost after 3 years I became a Legal Manager of one of the reputed multinational company and I proud on my previous decisions which made me more stronger and gave me a bright future and optimistic surrounding.

The unnamed Heroes

We have couple of experiences in our life when we come across a situation when an unknown person has been a Hero in our life. I share two such instances here.
Firstly, I would narrate my experience- I was in 1st year, appearing for my engineering exams. I left my home at 8.30 on my two-wheeler, for the chemistry university exam. I was just on schedule, mentally revising all that I had studied till late night the day before. On a busy square in my way, I had to stop for a red signal. An overloaded auto was going by, but somehow the driver lost balance and steered towards my Activa. It hit the front wheel of my Acitiva, and as I was waiting for the signal, I easily left my vehicle as soon as the auto hit it. Activa fell on ground, I jumped aside. The auto rider disappeared from the scene in seconds, I was in a state of shock… people had gathered around me… I lifted my Activa with the help of a person and tried starting it. The engine started but the moped did not move… I was in frenzy, had to reach exam hall within 15 mins, but my vehicle dint budge. Just then a man came from the crowd while most people had left while some simple stood there and stared, but this gentleman started pulling the mudguard of the front wheel using his bare hands. It took him a great deal of effort to pull the metal outwards from both sides which were hindering the motion of the wheel. And finally, my active moved!! I thanked the man in a hurry and reached the center 15 mins late…did a while lot of explaining to the examiner and finally wrote the paper. If it was not for this gentleman, I would not have reached there on time and may be had to appear for that paper after 6 months!!! I always feel indebted to this man. I regret that I dint ask his name and could not thank him enough for the efforts he took for an unknown girl!! He is a Hero in my eyes!!
Secondly, I would like to share an experience from my friend’s life. Reshma had come to Mumbai on a couple of months ago. And she had to go to her Aunt’s place in south Mumbai. As she stayed in Powai, going by local trains was an obvious choice. She had little experience, so she asked a lady about the next train arriving on the station which would go to Parel. The lady told her the platform no and Reshma went to that platform, got onto the local train. But she failed to notice that she got onto a general bogie instead of a lady’s special bogie. It was a busy hour and got even more crowded at the next stop. And seeing a girl alone in such jam-packed train compartment, few boys took advantage of the situation and started pushing her on purpose and bothering her. Another boy was standing nearby saw this, and he came in front of Reshma and enveloped her in a way that the wall of the compartment was against her back, the boy in front with his hands on the walls so that no one could push her side ways. He only asked her the station she wanted to get down. Entire way he was standing rock solid, endured the pushing and pulling; and protected her without touching her even once. When she reached Parel, he asked her to always take ladies compartment from next time onward. Reshma thanked him and wished the best for him. I salute this guy for being sensitive and chivalrous to an unknown lady. He is a Hero in his own way!!
It makes me happy that I have such things to share. I salute all the men who have at some point or other helped a lady in the hour of need even without being asked for help. We respect and thank you from the depths of our heart. You are the real Heroes!!!

Are we the slaves of our own minds?

So many times I find others and even myself, saying that “I could not achieve this because... I cannot do that because.... “  and we lament over these things... keep pondering how awesome it would have been had i achieved what I dreamed about!!! So much energy gone waste, so much time lost.... and we got nothing out of it. I accept that in order for some of our goals to materialize, the external factors are as important as internal factors. The internal factors are our hard word, dedication, perseverance...so on and so forth. Whereas external factors are things that we cannot control. Like bad weather not allowing us to go out, do our work, our own health concerns. And guess what... Murphy laws always come into play when I need them least and somehow I end up not achieving my target and then list ten things that led to the failure..  And I tend to think none of those ten things was my fault!!! thats how i keep the guilt off my mind... and yet mourn the fact that i am not where i saw myself headed.
But now that I think of all those things, I realize I wasn't sad because I was in a bad situation…but I was sad because I believed I was not in the place where I was supposed to be… May b I was in a better place than I aimed for!! But I am trapped in the cage of my thoughts, incapable to experience the beauty around me… Even if the current location is not so good, it is just part of the journey… keep treading the path, it will take you some place nice!  Sometimes in life, we don’t get what we desire but we get what we deserve, and what we deserve could be way better than what we desired!!!  Probably that’s why people say ‘Think BIG!!!’
Some of the biggest discoveries were not planned they happened. All great scientists and explorers had a vivid sense of imagination and an open mind. Soar high in the sky of opportunities with the wings of imagination and undying spirit!!

Budding Love...both sides of the story!

Her thoughts..
Why am I acting so stupid! If I keep behaving like this, the whole world will know, what I feel about him. Forget others, I think he is also suspecting something. And moreover, at some instances, his behavior is strange, as if he is also going through same phase. But the next moment, everything changes. I really don’t understand what is going on.
I am stupid enough to behave oddly and let out my feelings and perhaps he is clever enough to play along. Yes, actually I think he is just playing along, enjoying all the attention that he is getting.
People say, women are complex and its difficult to understand what they are thinking, but this is so not true. My eyes give away all my secrets. But it is so difficult to guess his feelings. He says something and his eyes seem to speak something else. And I do not get anything at all. That look in his eyes… what is that?? I keep wondering, guessing and hoping so many things. But I never understand the real meaning.
Sometimes it seems that he knows about my feelings and feels the same and wants me to know that. Sometimes it feels that he knows my feelings and just playing along flirtatiously. Sometimes it seems that he hurts me just to hide his feelings and sometimes it seems that he means to hurt me, to make me understand the reality that he is not at all into all this. And sometimes everything is a mess!!
Actually I think he is least interested, behaving normally like any other acquaintance and I am exaggerating everything. May be our eyes met just by chance (or may be because I keep staring at him!). And whatever he does, holds the gaze for a few moments very ‘normally’ or say ‘professionally’, the famous professional eye contact and all! Yes I think I am just exaggerating everything.

His thoughts..
I know she loves me. The way she looks at me gives away all, all her feelings that she tries hard to hide! And the way she looks at me, it just makes me crazy too!!
A girl with a golden heart, yes this will be the right description for her. She is not conventionally beautiful, but really cute. She is graceful, simple, mature and intelligent. Well the brain is mature, but at heart, she is so childish (This she will never accept). She keeps scolding and teaching me all the time about my bad habits and all. She does these things not only because she loves me, she is a genuine well wisher for everyone. She is kind at heart, and just incapable of hurting anyone!
Seriously sometimes I am really rude to her. But it happens sometimes, when you like someone a lot and just to hide your feelings, you behave rudely and end up hurting that person.

A year I would never wanna live again PART III

My college had ended and I was eagerly waiting for my call letter from Ways2sms.com.
I didn't had to wait for long and received it on 16th August. Marriage dates were also out and the big day was decided to be 12th November. Unfortunately my training was going to be completed by 3rd November, so I had very less time to prepare for Mahila Sangeet after returning from training.

It was 15th August and I was doing my last minute packing to leave for Mumbai.
Aditi came at my home around 2, one and half hour before my train was about to leave.
I can see that she was sad  but carried a smile on her face. Today I also understood the importance she had in my life. I was going to miss her like anything but didn't knew how to tell her that.
She hugged and wished me all the best and threatened to kill me if I missed to contact her even a single day.
Training went smooth and I had an awesome experience. It was my last day at training and I was very happy to return back to Indore.

Only a week was remaining for the marriage and everyone was bit nervous, tensed and hell lot busy.
I was one who was the most worried person there ,as we had very less time left for the rehearsal.
Everyone was missing their steps and it was a complete mess on the first day of our rehearsal after my return to Indore.

Our group consisted of 3 gals and 4 boys. From our side we were 3 of us , me , my cousin brother and sister.
Remaining 2 gals and 2 boys were from bhabhi's family. We had developed a great bonding and sync when we practiced before my training period. But today everyone appeared out of form and sync. So I was eagerly waiting to see the same return when we practice tomorrow.
We had a recording of the complete parody and everyone was told to practice the steps at their home and come prepared the next day.

Our practice started at 9 in the morning and we continued rehearsing it till everyone was not exhausted.
It was a gr88 session and I could see the old form and sync return.
Our Parody was 45 mins long so it was taken care of that everyone had an interval to get some breathe between the songs. My participation was the longest which comprised of 40 mins with a solo dance also.

It was 1st November and we were all together to rehearse for the last time.
Everyone gave his/her best shot and our dance was appreciated by all the relatives who had come for the marriage and were staying at our home.
I prepared the list according to the sequence of dances. I checked with the host whether she was ready with her part. I called DJ and told him to reach the venue on time.
Everything was set from my side. I was really happy and wanted to enjoy the eve with aditi as I didn't even  meet her after my return from Mumbai.

I was a bit nervous though but i really cared as I was going to meet Aditi who was an ocean of happiness where a single dive can refresh and free you from all worries.

A year I would never wanna live again PART II

It was just 11:50 and i had already called bhabhi to wish her happy b'day.
I wished her on the first place before bhaiya also and asked her what she wanted as a gift.
"I have given my list to ur bhaiya so aapko gift lane ki jarurat nahi hai", chuckled bhabhi.
"Gift has been prepared , so now just wait for the surprise tomorrow", I said in a humorous tone.

Bhaiya and I went at her place in the morning as we were invited for the lunch by his In-Laws.
So ready for the surprise bhabhi, yes of course, she said excitedly.
I gave her the most beautiful gift I have ever prepared for someone.

She was amazed to see the creativity and effort I had put in and now both bhaiya and bhabhi came to know why i have clicked their pics in different poses.
Her Father complimented me for such a nice creativity.
Man!!! I was really feeling very happy and proud, as everyone there liked and applauded by creativity.

We were done with the lunch and left for our home with a promise from bhabhi for a grand party in the night.
It was 7 in the evening and bhaiya was getting ready , obviously for the b'day party. I was sad as I didn't got any call from bhabhi , nor did bhaiya told me to get ready or about the time we have to leave for the party.
Than came those words which disappointed me very much, "I am taking Sonia out for dinner mom, we will get late", said bhaiya. I was upset not only because I was not invited but also because bhabhi didn't cared to call me once and tell me about their plans.
On seeing my agitated face bhaiya tried to convince me by saying that both of them don't get much quality time to spend with each other and that on this occasion we wanted to treat her his way.

I agreed with what he said, but somewhere deep inside my heart I was thinking of giving a second thought to living together with them in Mumbai.

Me and my bhaiya didn't shared a healthy relationship, our bonding was weak and many times we would yell at each other like morons.

I was optimistic in the sense that when bhabhi will come she would act as a connecting bridge between 2 of us, but I never thought in dreams also that I would be proved so wrong.

Anyways I forgot what all happened and got busy with Mahilla Sangeet preparations.
We are planning to do a parody in which we would describe the life the Aakash and Sonia from childhood till they fell in love with each other, ohh!!!! i forgot to tell you that it is a love cum arrange marriage.
Both of them used to work in Mumbai and meet at our relative place as Sonia was the best friend of our sis.
There they used to have long discussions on various topics and this discussions only helped them know and understand each other better and brought them close to each other.

At 6 pm everyone came to our house for rehearsal of the parody. We had selected some songs to describe the life of both the love birds. We had  managed to get a choreographer also ,who helped us mainly with the synchronization as we were all good solo dancers.
Bhabhi came near me and apologized for not giving a party on her b'day and also explained me how reluctant Aakash was to take anyone else with them and that she had no choice but to accept this stubbornness. She persuaded me till a smile came on my face.

My anger was appeased after listening to her. I became more optimistic about her role in helping the 2 of us (I and my brother) jell amiably with each other. Those words from the past echoed my ears "Bhabhi is like your mother and Bhaiya like a father". I didn't knew about Bhaiya but Bhabhi has moved a step closer today.

A year I would never wanna live again PART I

Everyone was happy as the eldest son of the family was getting married. Aakash and Sonia were engaged and soon ,were going to get married. All were busy with some or other preparations and so was Aryan, younger brother of Aakash. He was given the responsibility of Mahila Sangeet and had to do his own preparations also.

Aakash was a software engineer and worked at Wipro in Mumbai.
He was a tough guy who had seen many faces of life in his small age.
One who was intelligent and cared for everyone around him but there was something very negative in him.
He was stubborn and short tempered. Doing things his way without listening to others perturbed all.

A middle class gal with high ambitions is what Sonia was. She was quite amiable and cheerful person.
Pune was from where she was doing her Interior Designing Course.
Everyone in Aakash family had an impression that a gal like Sonia would bring lot of happiness with her.
But fate had something different in store for all.

Aryan was a 4th year BE student who used to enjoy life to the fullest.
Gals used to find his handsome, charming and caring but he was a bit shy and emotional and hence used to
keep himself away from them.
He was placed in ways2sms.com a free text messaging portal in Mumbai and was thinking of settling done with bhaiya and bhabhi there.

He was very happy as a new member was going to be part of the family in the form of his Bhabhi..
He had no real sister and only 1 cousin sis who was very introvert.
Also his father and mother had no female siblings , so he always missed upon the love and care of female fraternity except his mother. But now as Bhabhi was going to come , he was sure of getting all that love and care which he had missed for years.

"What gift are you giving to bhabhi on her b'day" , inquired Aditi , his best friend and college mate.
I am planning to give something different and creative to her as she is an interior designer, a collage may be, answered Aryan.
"Hmm collage sounds to be a good option but get it framed also", she advised him.
Yeah i am trying to learn photoshop, remember the collage that I made for you.
Aditi gave him a smile but it was not a simple smile, there were emotions hidden in it. She was not only his best friend but also his biggest well wisher and somewhere deep in her heart she had a very special place for him.

I will make a collage describing the love cycle of bhaiya and bhabhi..starting from the point they meet till the confession of magical 3 words. It will look gr88 as a collage, exclaimed Aryan.
For that I need both bhaiya and bhabhi in Indore. Coincidentally it was Diwali time and both of them had got their vacations sanctioned too.

We are done with the pics and captions for the following stages of cycle
1. First time when they saw each other
2. Their first conversation
3.
4. Their engagement ...exclaimed Aryan.

So 3rd one is the only stage left, inquired Aditi.
Yes it is the proposal one when bhaiya will be confessing those 3 magical letters to bhabhi and she would be accepting the proposal with a feeling of nervousness and happiness.

Dude you have to be on your knees as you did in your college days while proposing to your GF, I instructed my brother.
I was sounding like a love guru who had become pro in teaching people how to propose.
I took 4-5 pic of his and than went to bhabhi's place as it was her turn of accepting the proposal.

Bhabhi please bring some attitude in ur pose, gals normally give that while accepting a proposal...:P
I was done with the 3rd stage pics also, now the only work left was to get them together as a Collage via photoshop and than get the collage framed.

Tomorrow was bhabhi;s birthday and I was done with by gift.
The collage looked perfect in the frame which Aditi got for me. Thanks a lot dear if you were not there the gift would have never looked so beautiful. I am always there for you Aryan, Aditi said softly.
Well I am very much excited, this would be my first gift to her. I hope bhaiya bhabhi and rest of her family members like it....I bid goodbye to Aditi and went home with the gift...anxiously waiting for the next day to come...:)

To be contd........

The Proposal Day

I was excited at the same time very nervous..
It was the D day..the day when i was going to propose the love of my life..

"Where are you dude", I inequired ..
"I am on my way, will reach indore in 20 mins"..Sahil said.
He was returning to indore from bhopal and I didnt even allow him to go home..
He was about to bring the cake and the gift which i had selected for her..

I was stuck with some family work and was not able to get them by myself..:(

We selected the venue as Sapna Sandwitch as it was the most romantic place I knew..:)
I told her that we would be going to Sapna Sandwitch as it was the best place
to spend quality time...The other factor was also that it was not big on pocket..
very affordable..:)
We decided to leave by 7 pm..

It wanted everything to go according to the plan..frm Sahil's surprise visit, to
my proposal..

We left at 7..I was continously talking to sahil while riding and this made her
a bit suspicious..I was also riding very slowly which made her more agitated,
bt i somehow managed the situation..

We reached the desired venue in 45 mins..

Sapna sandwitch is one of the favorite places for the young love birds,
specailly the college going couples..

There was a table reserved by me at the last corner of the resturant because I wanted
as few people as possbile to see me on my knees..:P

We started talking and ordered paneer sandwithces..
Half and hour later I could see Sahil approaching us with a big bag..
I knew the cake was big.. 2 pounds..:)

"Hey some1 is walking towards our table" ,exclaimed her..

"Sahil how come you here??", I inquired..
Today i am here to propose a gal..he said grining..

She was totally puzzled..what to say and what to expect..

Sahil took the box out and placed the cake on the table..
She was perplexed and at the same time mesmerized by seeing the cake which was
big and had a craving of a  man proposing to a gal..

By now she understood what was going on and why..

Sahil shrewdly kept the gift in my hand..without been noticed by her..

For the 1st time in my life I was on my knees before a gal..
People on the neighboring tables had their eyes glued on our table..
I was feeling really embarrassed and had to go to washroom..lolzz

After coming from washroom both of them started laughing..
I yelled at them and told them to keep mum..

This time I decided not to look anywhere else but in her eyes..
I took her hand in mines and went on my knees again..
I could see that happiness, excitement and love,  deep in her eyes..
I went ahead with the shayari I had reiterated and was the most romantic shayari
known to me..
Than I sang the song "Mai jitni Martaba tujhe ho dekhta ye lagta hai mujhe" and
got lost..
I didnt knew what I said after that as words started pouring out by themselves..

The last word which i could remember was "YES" said by her which I was dying to listen..

I was on cloud9..Sahil congratulated both of us and wished for our long term relationship..

Than came surprise part-II which was the gift which I had selected for her..A "Pendant"..
Its beautiful exclaimed her..

"Let cut the cake", said Sahil..
I told her to hold the knife and than took her hands in mine..
Cake was cut and now it was time for some face painting..

I steped towards sahil but found both of them coming towards me with lot of
cream on their hands as their ammunition..

I understood that the target was me..Gentely and slowly I was given the facial of
my life..Fully painted I was looking like a joker with a red cherry on my nose..

Sahil brought his dg cam and was busy clicking pics from different angle..
He also made a video when i was on my knees and I was about to kill him for this..

Finally we made our way out of Sapna Sandwitch..
A great day.."The D Day" fianlly came to an end..
Courtsey Sahil and ofcourse the love of my life..:)

Respect The Woman Of Your Life

The woman in your life...very well expressed...

Tomorrow you may marry a gal who is working and earning equal to you..

Carefully read the following points -:
Here is a girl, who is as much educated as you are;
Who is earning almost as much as you do;
One, who has dreams and aspirations just as
you have because she is as human as you are;
One, who has never entered the kitchen in her life just like you or your
Sister haven't, as she was busy in studies and competing in a system
that gives no special concession to girls for their culinary achievements
One, who has lived and loved her parents & brothers & sisters, almost as much as you do for 20-25 years of her life;
One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people who love her, to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your family ,name
One, who is somehow expected to be a master-chef from day #1,
while you sleep oblivious to her predicament in her new circumstances,
environment and that kitchen
One, who is expected to make the tea, first thing in the morning and cook
food at the end of the day, even if she is as tired as you are, maybe more,
and yet never ever expected to complain; to be a servant, a cook, a mother,
a wife, even if she doesn't want to; and is learning just like you areas
to what you want from her; and is clumsy and sloppy at times and knows that
you won't like it if she is too demanding, or if she learns faster than you;
One, who has her own set of friends, and that includes boys and even meant her workplace too, those, who she knows from school days and yet is willing to put all that on the back-burners to avoid your irrational jealousy,unnecessary competition and your inherent insecurities;
One, who can be late from work once in a while when deadlines, just like yours, are to be met;
One, who is doing her level best and wants to make this most important,
relationship in her entire life a grand success, if you just help her some
and trust her;
One, who just wants one thing from you, as you are the only one she knows in your entire house - your unstained support, your sensitivities and most importantly - your understanding, or love, if you may call it.
But not many guys understand this.......
Please appreciate "HER"
I hope you will do....
Respect Her.

My 1st date.....

I was really excited..Everything was going on gr88....I finally proposed the gal who loved me like juliet might have loved romeo and today was a special day for both of us..
Today was our 1st date..
I was busy asking some of the love gurus about their 1st date..where they went..what they did..??
Some suggested candle light dinner, few adviced to go for a long drive, while others said disc is the best option..

I was all confused and everything looked messed up as I was not even sure about the venue yet..forget the gifts and other surprises..
Finally a sentence from our past conversation hit my mind..."I want to go to ISKCON temple, I have never been there.Anky lets plan something in the coming weekend" was what she said.
Hmm so I was all relieved now as I have conquered the world or done something extraordinary..:P
But its really hard to decide venues when you have to plan for such special occasions...
So it was decided than we are going to ISKCON temple..I liked the idea as the temple was far from our place and also it was not in some crowded area..I was thinking about the long drive on bike..:)
well boys think that way...you cant blame..:P

I called her up and told her to get ready my 6 as I knew that she would take at least 1 hour for make up and all stuff and even in worst case we would be able to go by 7..
To my surprise she was ready on time...a rare thing in gals..:P
She was looking stunning in black top and blue jeans..She wore a nostril and had put on kajal , which in my view is enough for a gal to look beautiful apart from her natural looks..I was all lost but came to my senses by her a punch on my shoulder. "well you have the whole evening left to admire me..can we leave now" she inquired..

So finally our date started..

It was Saturday evening so the traffic was full on and it took us an hour to reach Bombay hospital.
Well people from Indore knows it and for others let me tell you that till Bombay hospital we have the main road but from their till ISKCON temple we have to go through a colony.

Roads in the colony are not well constructed..somewhere it was like GAV ki pakdandi...but whtever it was we had to go that way only..
I had gone to the temple only once so I too didnt knew the exact way..but I was sure to find 1 by any means..
It was winter times so it was already dark...There was only the light from my bike on the whole road..
I was all confused where to go because it was dark and all the roads looked the same..
"I think we are lost..I cant remember what path we took on my 1st visit to ISKCON", I said grinning..
She looked at me with surprise and anger..She was skeptical and gave a long and questioning stare...as in asking me what was running in my mind ...
I started talking all rubbish that I cant remember anything and how will we get home now..we are stuck in the middle and there is no1 around ...
Finally I was able to frighten her..she was acting like a small child who gets lost in a dark room and calls for her mother..I was enjoying her talks and those feeble punches on my back which we actually appeasing my back pain..
Finally we were able to find a human soul there. He gave a puzzled look on seeing us.
I told him that we wanted to go to ISKCON temple but were lost so can he help us.
He introduced himself as  a home tutor and told us that he was going the same way.
As all uncles do he too advised us not to come here so late and to be more cautious..
Finally we reached our destination the temple of LORD KRISHNA...
It was a beautifully built temple with small gardens on either side..The curtains were moved as it was AARTI time  and we were amazed to see the beautiful idols of Lord Krishna and Radha..

After the aarti we took prashad and started exploring the temple..It was the 1st time other than the day I proposed her when I found her so happy. She was roaming in all around the temple like a small bird who had just learned to fly.Sometimes she wanted to sit in the garden while the other moment she wanted to go on the roof ..She kept on talking and laughing.. I was really complacent to see her that way..
Finally we sat in the garden and kept on talking till the time priest came and told us that the temple was getting closed.
We gave a Y do we have to go?? look to the priest and walked out as if we were some great devotee of Krishna and he was turning out to be an obstacle in our prayers..

"Its time to go", I told her...What happened next is all secret and confidential..:P
Nwys I really enjoyed my 1st date and was on cloud 9 on getting the response for the efforts which I made to plan the surprise visit to ISKCON temple..:)))

Silence..

Based on the true story (Names are changed)

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you…….All office employees were out of their cubicles, some to genuinely wish The Boss on his birthday and some for tempting Pastries and Pizzas…

Being in Human Resource Department, Priya was concerned for all employees’ presence. She was informally chatting with all and suddenly she looked at Aakash – A 23 years old boy sitting on his desk in computer Department. As usual, he was staring at Computer Screen and his fingers were tapping on keyboard with the Speed of Rajdhani Express . Priya went to him and sarcastically said.” Aakash, why don’t you just get inside the computer box? Your physical body is only OUT”..Aakash gave a pale look and smile from one corner of his lips..Priya smiled back and remembered first day of Aakash in office. She found him Intellectual Giant but very shy by nature. He used to talk very less. Priya admired his smile very much. First time, Priya saw him very happy when she told him, “I wish you were my real brother”…. Since then, Aakash used to share things with her.

Priya Didi..Priya Didi…She came back to present and saw aakash calling her. Aakash looked at her and was about to say something but boss called Priya immediately. Priya gave indifferent look and told aakash that she will be back.. Aakash looked outside the window, took a deep sigh and squeezed his eyes tightly…..

Priya was so busy in work that she could not remember about Aakash.Sometimes, we are so happy for our own happiness that we forget about others.Priya got engaged recently. She looked at her wrist watch and her mobile beeped with incoming message. Priya blushed while looking at her would be hubby’s message. She heard knock on her cabin’s door. She looked up..Aakash was standing there. Priya wants to rush to home and get ready for her Date. “Didi”..Aakash said.. “I want to talk to you".. Priya said lovingly by patting on Aakash’s cheeks..”we will talk later baby, your Jiju must be waiting for me”.. She winked at him and left.
Aakash felt a pain in his chest. Tears rolled down his cheeks. He sat there for a while and left.

Priya was enjoying best days of her life. At 10 in the night, her mobile rang, seeing mobile number of her boss, she received .There was a SILENCE from Priya’s end, her eyes were wide open, she felt numbness..she was just holding a phone..After hanging up, she sobbed so loudly..she could not believe words of her boss…”Priya, Aakash has committed Suicide..He is going to be taken for Postmortem. Do u have any idea why he did this? …Priya recalled.. “Didi, I want to talk to you”… She grieved and thought….” I wish I listened to my brother….I wish I could understand his SILENCE….

Beautiful poem by Rabindranath Tagore

Go not to the temple to put flowers upon the feet of God,First fill your own house with the Fragrance of love...

Go not to the temple to light candles before the altar of God,First remove the darkness of sin from your heart...

Go not to the temple to bow down your head in prayer,First learn to bow in humility before your fellowmen...

Go not to the temple to pray on bended knees,First bend down to lift someone who is down-trodden

Go not to the temple to ask for forgiveness for your sins,First forgive from your heart those who have sinned against you.

One of the Best motivating story I have read...................

Vivek Pradhan was not a happy man. Even the plush comfort of the
air-conditioned compartment of the Shatabdhi express could not cool his
frayed nerves. He was the Project Manager and still not entitled to air
travel. It was not the prestige he sought; he ...had tried to reason with
the admin person, it was the savings in time. As PM, he had so many things
to do!! He opened his case and took out the laptop, determined to put the
time to some good use. "Are you from the software industry sir," the man
beside him was staring appreciatively at the laptop. Vivek glanced briefly
and mumbled in affirmation, handling the laptop now with exaggerated care
and importance as if it were an expensive car. "You people have brought so
much advancement to the country, Sir. Today everything is getting
computerized. " "Thanks," smiled Vivek, turning around to give the man a
look. He always found it difficult to resist appreciation. The man was young
and stockily built like a sportsman. He looked simple and strangely out of
place in that little lap of luxury like a small town boy in a prep school.
He probably was a railway sportsman making the most of his free traveling
pass. "You people always amaze me," the man continued, "You sit in an office
and write something on a computer and it does so many big things outside."
Vivek smiled deprecatingly. Naive ness demanded reasoning not anger. "It is
not as simple as that my friend. It is not just a question of writing a few
lines. There is a lot of process that goes behind it." For a moment, he was
tempted to explain the entire Software Development Lifecycle but restrained
himself to a single statement. "It is complex, very complex." "It has to be.
No wonder you people are so highly paid," came the reply. This was not
turning out as Vivek had thought. A hint of belligerence crept into his so
far affable, persuasive tone. " Everyone just sees the money. No one sees
the amount of hard work we have to put in. Indians have such a narrow
concept of hard work. Just because we sit in an air-conditioned office, does
not mean our brows do not sweat. You exercise the muscle; we exercise the
mind and believe me that is no less taxing." He could see, he had the man
where he wanted, and it was time to drive home the point. "Let me give you
an example. Take this train. The entire railway reservation system is
computerized. You can book a train ticket between any two stations from any
of the hundreds of computerized booking centers across the country.
Thousands of transactions accessing a single database, at a time
concurrently; data integrity, locking, data security. Do you understand the
complexity in designing and coding such a system?" The man was awestruck;
quite like a child at a planetarium. This was something big and beyond his
imagination. "You design and code such things." "I used to," Vivek paused
for effect, "but now I am the Project Manager." "Oh!" sighed the man, as if
the storm had passed over, "So your life is easy now." This was like the
last straw for Vivek. He retorted, "Oh come on, does life ever get easy as
you go up the ladder. Responsibility only brings more work. Design and
coding! That is the easier part. Now I do not do it, but I am responsible
for it and believe me, that is far more stressful. My job is to get the work
done in time and with the highest quality. To tell you about the pressures,
there is the customer at one end, always changing his requirements, the user
at the other, wanting something else, and your boss, always expecting you to
have finished it yesterday." Vivek paused in his diatribe, his belligerence
fading with self-realization. What he had said, was not merely the outburst
of a wronged man, it was the truth. And one need not get angry while
defending the truth. "My friend," he concluded triumphantly, "you don't know
what it is to be in the Line of Fire" . The man sat back in his chair, his
eyes closed as if in realization. When he spoke after sometime, it was with
a calm certainty that surprised Vivek. "I know sir.... I know what it is to
be in the Line of Fire......." He was staring blankly, as if no passenger,
no train existed, just a vast expanse of time. "There were 30 of us when we
were ordered to capture Point 4875 in the cover of the night. The enemy was
firing from the top. There was no knowing where the next bullet was going to
come from and for whom. In the morning when we finally hoisted the tricolour
at the top only 4 of us were alive." "You are a...?" "I am Subedar Sushant
from the 13 J&K Rifles on duty at Peak 4875 in Kargil. They tell me I have
completed my term and can opt for a soft assignment. But, tell me sir, can
one give up duty just because it makes life easier. On the dawn of that
capture, one of my colleagues lay injured in the snow, open to enemy fire
while we were hiding behind a bunker. It was my job to go and fetch that
soldier to safety. But my captain sahib refused me permission and went ahead
himself. He said that the first pledge he had taken as a Gentleman Cadet was
to put the safety and welfare of the nation foremost followed by the safety
and welfare of the men he commanded... ....his own personal safety came
last, always and every time." "He was killed as he shielded and brought that
injured soldier into the bunker. Every morning thereafter, as we stood
guard, I could see him taking all those bullets, which were actually meant
for me. I know sir....I know, what it is to be in the Line of Fire." Vivek
looked at him in disbelief not sure of how to respond. Abruptly, he switched
off the laptop. It seemed trivial, even insulting to edit a Word document in
the presence of a man for whom valor and duty was a daily part of life;
valour and sense of duty which he had so far attributed only to epical
heroes. The train slowed down as it pulled into the station, and Subedar
Sushant picked up his bags to alight. "It was nice meeting you sir." Vivek
fumbled with the handshake. This hand... had climbed mountains, pressed the
trigger, and hoisted the tricolour. Suddenly, as if by impulse, he stood up
at attention and his right hand went up in an impromptu salute. It was the
least he felt he could do for the country. PS:- The incident he narrated
during the capture of Peak 4875 is a true-life incident during the Kargil
war. Capt. Batra sacrificed his life while trying to save one of the men he
commanded, as victory was within sight. For this and various other acts of
bravery, he was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, the nation's highest military
award.

So never run away from ur duty...dont get upset and depressed by small obstacles of life..Remember of what you have achieved and feel proud of it and prepare urself for the new heights you wanna conquer...

BEST TUTORIAL TO EARN ONLINE

I am writing this blog because I got request from some of my friends to share my views , suggestions and experiences on this topic.

I am into online earning  from some 2 years and have analysed a lot about it.

“The only resource we get conventional money without an investment is through INTERNET ”

Why NOT every body do this and Earn Lots of Money?

40% - Believe Earning Money through Internet is Bullshit!
26% - Though they show interest they think its professional!
15% - They want to make money But don't have Time!
14% - Fail to earn because of thirst to earn money and can't hold till the success!
4% - Though they start the process But due to Lack of proper guidance they cease in the middle!

1% - Successful in Earning through Internet!

so I want to remove the wrong notion that people have, which is they cant earn online and its just wastage of time.
I want to make them aware about this revolution.

IF YOU HAVE A WEBSITE OR BLOG OF YOUR
OWN

Let start with the biggieeee...

GOOGLE ADSENSE

Before some years, I was wondering to see advertisements on websites. I was confused how they are getting advertisements on their websites? Obviously they are getting some money if they are advertising on their websites. After a long time, I found that these ads are provided by Google (The World's No.1 Search Engine). Google pays you when a visitor of your site clicks on the publisher's Ad provided by Google

How is Works?

Look, advertiser are paying money to Google to advertise their ads on publishers websites to tell the people about their website, their products, their services, increase their product sales, visitors, etc. Google cuts his commission & left money gives to publishers. That's it!

Amazon Associates program

Amazon Associates is one of the first online affiliate marketing programs and was launched in 1996. The Amazon Associates program has a more than 12 year track record of developing solutions to help website owners, Web developers, and Amazon sellers make money by advertising millions of new and used products from Amazon.com and its subsidiaries, such as Endless.com and SmallParts.com. When website owners and bloggers who are Associates create links and customers click through those links and buy products from Amazon, they earn referral fees. It’s free to join and easy to use.

Provide customers the convenience of referring them to a trusted site where they can immediately purchase the products you advertise on your site. And when they do, you can earn up to 15% in referral fees.
Take advantage of various Amazon retail promotions and leverage newly created advertising features to drive traffic and earn referrals.
